Relaxing at National Park Madeleines Islands

Invinted by Antonia (thanks again!), we went to National Park Madeleines Islands and spent a whole day on its calm beach. It took about 10 minutes from the centre of Dakar to the National Park office and we each paid 5,000 FCFA (about 10 US$). We got on a boat and in 10 minutes, we arrived at the biggest island, called Sarpan.

We all got together on its calm beach and I chatted with other people while lying down in the sand with my body in the water. Then we enjoyed kicking a soccer ball and then walked around the island. That was a wonderful and very relaxing time.

I hope you can feel the calm atmosphere of the beach.
